Handicapping Dog Races at
Daytona Beach,
Friday
night treated us pretty rough. Kind of had that feeling heading
in. Tonights program doesn't seem much easier. Bet light and
hope for a longshot. Good Luck!!
I
have been handicapping Dogs at Daytona Beach for more than 35 years, so those of
you who have only been doing this for 6 months or so and are picking
more winners than me can consider yourself a prodigy or consider me an Idiot. It's probably a tossup.
All of
my dog racing picks are purely for entertainment and not to be taken very
seriously. Dogs are a little like horses in the fact that
sometimes you'll find a horse that goes out and runs his lifetime mark
giving you a huge payoff. The dog giving you the big payoff may be
the one that finally managed to make it through the first turn without
getting knocked upside down.
The picks I am giving are supplying one winner along with what I believe
will be the 2nd and 3rd place dogs. The type of bet being made
will be a quinella wheel along with a $2 win bet on the top dog. I
realize trifectas are a lot more entertaining to play and also much more
profitable, I just didn't want to go a week without posting a winner
using just 3 dogs.
So take
the picks with a grain of salt and see if you can do better. I
hope you can.
